To celebrate DRIFT's 15th anniversary, Lonneke Gordijn and Ralph Nauta created a Dandelight Special Edition featuring three dandelions, with each dandelion representing 5 years within DRIFT's evolution. The Dandelight Special Edition 2022 is the successor to its predecessors 'Dandelight 2007', 'Dandelight 2020' and the sold out 'Dandelight 2021 Hope Edition'.
DRIFT uses real dandelions in the making of the Dandelight. Each spring, the duo pick the flowers themselves, after which they attach the dandelion seeds one by one to an LED. In this way luminous dandelions are created, the same concept is also used in DRIFT's signature work 'Fragile Future'.
Only 150 editions are available from the Dandelight Special Edition 2022, these come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Shipping will start after the second week of December 2022.
