Dandelight is a delicate fusion of art, nature, and technology; from our signature artwork series ‘Fragile Future’. Each Dandelight is made from real dandelions which are hand-picked during the annual DRIFT Spring Harvest and every individual seed is meticulously affixed to an LED.
This year’s special edition focuses on the promise of a future, the potential of seed and soil creating a fertile breeding ground together. We aimed for lightness and natural materials, such as sand and jute. The base contains dandelion seeds, cast in translucent white resin.
For a healthy new generation we need to get the basics right! "This double dandelion version reflects a beacon of hope embodied in the promise of new life." shares artist Lonneke Gordijn who is expecting her first child.
The Dandelight is powered using a USB and is compatible with any USB plug.
