DRIFT presents an all-new edition of their masterpiece Dandelight. Each Dandelight comes with 2 hand-picked dandelion seeds and a nameplate that reads 'HARVEST 2021'. The 2021 Hope Edition is produced in an edition of 200. Exclusively available, this is the only time you will be able to pick up a Dandelight with 2 flowers.
Based on labor-intensive processes that symbolize the fragility of life, our art piece is a statement against the throwaway culture. The Sculpture is made of real dandelion seeds that are handpicked during the spring season in the Netherlands. These seeds are connected to the LEDs seed by seed and form a subtle and tasteful light. A poetic composition that will add some character to your home setting.
The Dandelight with dome is powered with an electrical cable, instead of battery-powered. The cable has a switch to switch the light on and off. The Dandelight is placed in a handblown glass dome on a concrete/polymer base.
